"The Wealth Dump"
What if I told you that the wealthiest place on earth is the graveyard and that every single day more wealth gets added to it? The main reason this “wealth dump” continues to grow is because people like you choose not to live out your dreams and passions that were sent to you and only you. Think about it this way, the specific gifts, passions and internal goals you have are within you because you are the one that can bring them to life. Not your mother, your father, brothers or sisters – only you. Today I am here to help you out; to ensure that you don’t add any more value to the “wealth dump” but instead add value to yourself and those who need you to live out those passions and dreams.
A.R. Rahman once said that “Success comes to those who dedicate everything to their passion in life.” The great reason behind this is because there is no success without fulfillment. Let me repeat that—there is no success without fulfillment. Let me tell you a story to help you picture this the way it needs to be depicted. I once owned a fitness business that was well on its way to a six figure a year payout and afforded me all the niceties that an income like that could provide. I traveled, I bought cars, clothes, and had everything a man could ask for except fulfillment, happiness and the passion this type of work required. Before I started this fitness business I dreamt of being exactly where I ended up, but the one portion of the dream that was missing was the most important one: fulfillment, happiness, and ultimately, the passion for this type of work. I soon found out that this was a critical piece to the delicate puzzle called life. After being overwhelmed, stressed out and even depressed, I decided to shut down the business and follow what my heart was truly telling me to do.
The Bible states that “where your treasure is your heart will be also.” This my friends, is the golden nugget and the reason for this article. In life you will eventually find out that if you choose a career path based off a societal prescription instead of that of your own, you will be an added investor in the “wealth dump.” By taking my own advice and following my passion I now run a franchise that is the #1 snack food in the world and employs many workers throughout a community that has a shortage of opportunities for those seeking a career. On one hand I had stress, anxiety and depression but it glittered on the outside and on the other hand I have now attained fulfillment and passion in the crazy world of entrepreneurship. What will you choose?
